Facing temptation, only like humans?
📖 Daniel 7:13
As I watched in the night visions,
I saw one like a Son of Man
coming with the clouds of heaven.
He approached the Ancient of Days
and was led into his presence.
📖 Matthew 3:7–10
When John saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing,
he said to them:
“You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming judgment?
Produce fruit that shows genuine repentance.
And do not think you can say, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’
I tell you that God can raise up children for Abraham
even from these stones.
The axe is already at the root of the trees,
and every tree that does not produce good fruit
will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”

But the one who comes after me is more powerful than I am;

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”

No temptation has overtaken you
except what is common to humanity.
God is faithful;

But when you are tempted,
he will also provide a way out
so that you can endure it.

and I was able to speak.
I said to the one standing before me
that I had no strength left
and could hardly breathe.
“How can the servant of my lord speak with you,
when I have no strength or breath remaining?”
Again the one who looked like a man touched me and strengthened me.
He said,
“Do not be afraid, you who are greatly loved.
Peace be with you.
Be strong now; take courage.”
As he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said,
“Speak, my lord,
since you have given me strength.”

y que el dolor me había dejado sin aliento.
¿Cómo puede un siervo hablar con mi señor,
si no me quedan fuerzas ni aliento?
Pero aquel que tenía apariencia humana
volvió a tocarme y me fortaleció.
Me dijo:
«No tengas miedo, hombre muy amado.
La paz sea contigo.
Sé fuerte, cobra ánimo».
Y mientras me hablaba,
recobré las fuerzas y dije:
«Habla, mi señor,
porque me has fortalecido».
